Sorry I have been away for a little while but I thought
I would update you all on my progress so far and the ups and downs I have
occurred in my challenge. As you may know, I have recently signed up to become an
independent distributer for Herbalife. After initially trying the products and
seeing some great results I decided to sign up to the 90 day challenge.
As with a lot of things in life I was really dedicated
to this challenge in the beginning – had very little or no cheats and worked out
at least 5 times a week. After 3-4 weeks I was moving house and there really
are no excuses but I started to lose my initial motivation. I still exercised 3
times a week but I drank quite a bit of alcohol and went too far on my cheat
meals. I knew that the exercise would not outweigh the amount of calories I was
sometimes consuming.
Always remember |
I knew in the back of my mind that I could do better and
this really came to light when I was met with my first week of maintaining
weight and not losing. I was disappointed but not surprised – I wanted the
results so badly and knew I needed to stop having so many sneaky little treats
as they clearly add up.
My motivation really came back when I bumped in to
someone who I had not seen in a while and they told me that I looked great and
looked like I had lost a lot of weight. They say it takes other around 4 weeks
for others to notice your weight loss and this was on week 5 so I was really
happy. I knew from that moment I had to push harder than ever because I was
still not close to where I wanted to be.
Making my protein pancakes |
I am now just over the half way mark in
to my challenge and I’m more motivated than ever to get the results I’ve wanted
for so long. It’s back to the gym 5 times a week and not reaching for that
glass of wine after a stressful week because on the most special day of my life I want to look and
feel as amazing as I have always dreamed of.
